This survey has been sent out biennially for 10 years and is part of a longitudinal study to show trends and evolving situations in our community sector.
To ensure that the findings of the survey are professionally analysed, we have contracted the brilliant researcher Dr Jane Horan.
This survey was sent out as far and wide as possible so that as many organisations as possible participated.
Be they sports groups; kaupapa Māori organisations; social service agencies; community gardens, it doesn’t matter – the qualifier is that they are Not-for-Profit.
“This survey underscores the urgent need for greater support and recognition of the vital work these organisations do.”
Holly Snape - Acting Executive Director CNA
